Amidst the voluminous pool of today's young professionals, no one can shine quite like Nelson Nigel.


With certifications that include NYC MBE, NYC LBE, NYS MBE and Post Authority, one can only expect that his educational background and achievements is overwhelming if not amazing. He finished design and construction under the mentorship of master architect Mark Strauss of FXFOWLE and later bagged a Bachelors Degree in Cultural Anthropology in Queen's College. His skills and talents are further developed after studying construction management under Bovis Lend Lease and Turner Construction. With added training and education from Columbia University, Pace University and Medgar Evers College (with joint training from Forest City Rathner Companies), he slowly wowed his own circle of spectators in the guise of those he impressed with his works.


Nelson Nigel added more to the amusement of people by defying the limits and taking document management under Dominique Paraison of McKissack & McKissack Architects, along with the training in construction accounting at New York City Tech under the mentorship of Robert Brewer of Grassi CPA's.

 

It is of no surprise then that in 2002, he was able to establish himself as a real estate developer after founding his company Nelson Nigel New York. Among the company's most outstanding projects include the development of an 8-unit building in Bronx, NY. By 2005, Nigel is already able to open the Head Contracting LLC, where he was seated as the Vice President of Finance as he juggled all his other duties.


In addition to the long list of achievements, he was also hailed as the President of Nuts & Bolts New York LLC and also worked as a discount importer of A325 High Tension "Break Off" bolts, nuts and washers from Asia.


All of these served as his ticket to the pages of Wall Street Journal and segments from the Fox News in May 2010.
